The Association of Quebec Strawberry and Raspberry Growers (APPFQ) is proud to announce that it has developed a new management tool by and for growers. In the context of the current workforce shortage, our members need a sustainable and affordable solution to track their data to make informed business decisions. This farm management software is the result of the efforts of a group of producers who, through their non-profit association, offer a safe, reliable and readily available tool.
Suitable for all vegetable production, uFields makes it easy to compile and track your data. The features currently available are:
time sheets (time per task);
production monitoring (calculation of real-time yields and picking rate by field and worker;
field operations (inputs)
A storage module will be available in 2020 to monitor inventory, safety and traceability.
Several producers are currently testing the software and claim that it is an intuitive work tool adapted to their everyday reality. This development project is supported by the Quebec Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPAQ) as part of the sectoral development program.
