Montreal, June 7, 2022 – The Québec Produce Marketing Association (QPMA) is proud to announce its new partnership with the Marathon Beneva de Montréal, which will take place on September 24 and 25. For the occasion, the QPMA will present the 1 km event – Le Marathon des petits pas of the I Love Fruits and Vegetables Movement – and distribute close to 20,000 Quebec apples at the finish line of all runs on Olympic Parc’s iconic Esplanade.

September 30, 2021, (Montreal) – The Canadian produce industry is excited to join with sector partners from around the world to celebrate World Food Day, which will be held on October 16, 2021.
Montréal, Québec, August 19, 2021 — The Québec Produce Marketing Association (QPMA) is excited to receive support from the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, André Lamontagne, who is granting $750,000 in financial assistance to the organization for its I Love Fruits and Veggies Movement program. The Minister made the announcement this morning at Jardins Cousineau, while presenting the actions that will be deployed over the coming months to encourage consumers to include more Québec produce into their daily habits. In addition to this significant financial contribution from the Ministry, the QPMA and its industry partners will contribute an additional $300,000.
July 16, 2021 (Ottawa, ON) – Canada’s Federal, Provincial and Territorial (FPT) Ministers of Agriculture and Food announced yesterday their vision to support a ‘Made in Canada’ Food Industry Code of Practice. The news was welcomed by the Canadian fruit and vegetable supply chain representing major growers, shippers, packers, transporters, brokers, distributors, wholesalers, retailers, importers and exporters, fresh cut operators, foodservice distributors, operators, and processors that integrate all segments of the fresh produce industry.
