Consultation for lightening regulation and paperwork - MEI (Ministry of Economy and Innovation of Quebec)

The MEI (Ministry of Economy and Innovation) invites us to a consultation regarding the new action plan for regulatory's reduction:

The government is tackling paperwork to improve productivity and support the growth of the companies.

The QPMA is committed to bringing the concerns of the fruit and vegetable industry on this subject.

So thank you for sharing your experiences and your opinions on regulations and forms which, for example:

  • complicate your procedures,
  • slow down your activities and your development opportunities,
  • lead to contradictory or inconsistent situations.

In this context, Ms. Sophie Perreault, CEO of the QPMA, Ms. Marie de Tarlé, responsible for public affairs at the QPMA and Mr. Marc-André Van Winden, Vice-President at the Marketing director of the VegCo Group, participated in a meeting with  agri-food organizations led by MEI, on February 3, 2020.
They exposed various issues met by members of the QPMA and proposed possible solutions to the members of the ministers who were attentive and eager to know more about the realities of our sector.
So do not hesitate to communicate your troubles to us regarding regulations, administrative procedures or fustrating forms.
We will be happy to carry your voices.
