After the juices and beers made from unpopular fruits and vegetables, the Montreal company LOOP has just created a gin with the trimmings of potatoes used to make Yum Yum potato chips. David Côté, co-founder of LOOP, explains that the goal is to come to the rescue of 120 tons of food thrown out per week by the end of the year 2020.
The LOOP gin will be on sale at the Société des alcools du Québec (SAQ) from December 15th!
