After more than two years without in-person social events, the Quebec produce industry finally got together for a much-needed golf tournament and cocktail reception. During the last years, we all had to reinvent ourselves and this year the QPMA came up with a number of new features for its Golf Tournament.
- The original animations were a huge success
- Product tastings on the golf course gave players a refreshing chance to enjoy plenty of great Quebec-grown food favourites.
- A cocktail dinner (in a format that met all ongoing health directives) was the perfect opportunity for members to relax and network together after long hours on the courses. The sun came out again from 4:00 to 7:00 pm to end the day in spectacular fashion...a flock of Canada Geese even did a special flyover out of the blue above the spacious golf club terrace.
- This year’s tournament was fully compliant with all current health directives to ensure everyone’s safety. All guests cooperated fully, proudly flashing their vaccination passports.
The golf tournament was actually redesigned to be more fun than ever for Quebec produce industry members and partners, even when adapted to meet conditions in the ongoing pandemic.
