We are pleased to announce that Alimplus has acquired AOF Service Alimentaire. We’re very excited about this acquisition, which makes Alimplus the largest Québec-based independent foodservice distributor in the province, with sales approaching $300 million.
This acquisition enables us to consolidate our position throughout the various regions of the province. Combining our three distribution centres will allow us to optimize our service, especially in eastern Québec. We will continue to build and to invest in order to strengthen our presence throughout the province.
Nothing has changed in our commitment to providing quality products at the lowest possible price with, of course, exceptional customer service. We will continue to work in close partnership with you to serve our customers as best as possible in the future.
