He was actively involved in business at a very young age, starting his career in fruits and vegetables as a fifteen-year-old sales clerk. In no time at all he had successfully gained experience in all the key areas of the fruit and vegetable industry: warehouse clerk, wholesale foreman, transport clerk, project manager, buyer, and seller. Since September 2018, he has been co-president at Krops Imports. His highly specialized expertise in importing fresh fruit from around the world and his passion for the industry make Ian Routhier a definite asset on the association’s board of directors.
