Government of Canada has recently launched a new consultation on the regulatory review process

As you may know, the Government of Canada announced targeted regulatory reviews in Budget 2018 (https://www.budget.gc.ca/2018/docs/plan/chap-02-en.html), aimed to identify bottlenecks and other areas of regulation that can be improved. The reviews will also explore ways to make regulations more agile, transparent and responsive so that businesses can grow, resulting in benefits for all Canadians. Stakeholder input is instrumental in providing recommendations that can help improve regulations in the 3 key sectors.

Share your thoughts on how federal regulations can better enable growth and innovation.

More information about the consultation is available in the Canada Gazette, Part I (http://gazette.gc.ca/rp-pr/p1/2018/2018-07-28/html/notice-avis-eng.html#nl7), along with guiding questions for stakeholders to consider and further information on the Government of Canada’s regulatory modernization agenda.
