This document presents an evolutionary analysis of the greenhouse vegetable industry in Quebec, mainly the following vegetables: tomato, cucumber, lettuce and pepper. The period covered is from 2006 to 2015. In some cases, the analysis has been limited to the latest official data.
- Quebec ranks third among Canadian provinces, behind Ontario and British Columbia. It owns 7% of the areas and 4% of the greenhouse vegetable production volume.
- Cash receipts from the sale of greenhouse vegetables totaled $ 95 million, up 18% since 2012.
